: Competed at five meets, continuing as the Mountain West’s best triple jumper … Kicked off his season at the Cherry & Silver Invitational, placing 29th in the 60-meter dash (7.29*) and eighth in the long jump (23 1/2 [7.02m]) … Posted his first triple jump mark at the New Mexico Invitational, winning the event with a leap of 51-5 (15.67m) … Claimed fourth at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational with a mark of 51-1 1/2 (15.58m) … Won the triple jump at the Mountain West Championships with a mark of 51-11 (15.82m) while also earning All-MW honors in the long jump after placing third with a leap of 23-8 (7.21m) … Took third in the triple jump at the Alex Wilson Invitational, securing an NCAA berth with his leap of 52-4 3/4 (15.97m) … Tallied a 52-foot mark in the triple jump at the NCAA Championships, placing eighth and earning a team point for the Lobos.
2013 Outdoor: Saw action at four meets, posting nationally relevant marks during the postseason … His first triple jump competition was at the Mountain West Championships, where he claimed his second title of 2013 with a mark of 51-2 3/4 (15.61m) … Qualified to the NCAA West Preliminary championships where he locked up an NCAA finals bid with a leap of 52-8 (16.05m) … Scored another medalling finish at the NCAA–after earning silver in 2012–as he jumped 52-11 (16.13m) to place third.

2012 Indoor
: Competed at seven meets, emerging as the Lobos’ best triple jumper … Opened the season with a long jump, placing 12th at the Cherry & Silver Invitational with a 22-7 leap … Posted his first shot a the triple jump at the New Mexico Invitational, placing second with a 51 3/4 mark … Also placed third in the long jump at the New Mexico Invite with a 22-8 1/2 mark … Claimed third in the triple jump at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational with a 51-5 mark … Won the triple jump at the Mountain West Championships, leaping a then-career best 51-7 1/4 … Backed up that victory with another title at the Alex Wilson Invitational, posting a season-best of 51-11 3/4 … Qualified to the NCAA Indoor Championships, finishing eighth with a 51-10 1/2 mark to earn the Lobos one team point.
2012 Outdoor: Continued to perform at an elite level throughout the season at seven meets … Posted his first triple jump at the Mt. SAC Relays, placing third with a 51-3 3/4 mark … Also registered two regular-season long jump performances at the Don Kirby Tailwind and Beach Invitationals, placing 21st and 30th, respectively … Claimed a victory in the triple jump at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational, leaping a then-personal record 52-5 1/4 … Nabbed runner-up honors at the MW Championships, finishing with a 51-7 3/4 leap … Qualfied to the First Round of the NCAA Championships, leaping a third-place 52-7 1/4 to advance to the NCAA Championships … At the national championships, stormed to the finals of the triple jump on his last preliminary-round leap and claimed national runner-up honors on his last jump in finals, a two-foot PR of 54-6.

JUNIOR COLLEGE
Attended Barton County Community in Great Bend, Kansas … Coached by Coach Kane and was on a team that achieved Indoor National Championship honors … Jumped 49-11 freshman year and 51-5 his sophomore year in triple jump … In 2010, recieved fifth place at the NJCAA Division 1 Outdoor National Championships … Three time Regional Junior college champion and a four time national Junior College qualifier.

Born in Memphis, Tennesse … Parents are Floyd and Louise Ross and has six siblings … Majoring in Nursing and enjoys playing basketball in free time … Favorite athlete is Derek Rose of the Chicago Bulls … Graduated from high school in 2008 from Leavenworth High.
