Maixner was an all-state player her senior year and was the team captain for Mahtomedi High School and coach Dave Wald … Was named Metro East All-Conference as a senior … Helped the team win five Metro East Conference championships (eighth grade through senior year) … As a junior was named to the All-State tournament team as well as All-Metro East Conference and helped the Zephyrs to a third-place finish at state … Also lettered in basketball twice … Part of National Honors Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes … Played club for Minnesota Thunder Academy and was PDT champions twice … Was part of the Minnesota ODP team and was a Region II participant from 2011-13.
