Senior (2013): Placed a season-best 24th in the 10K freestyle at the UNM Invite on Feb. 2…finished 25th in the 15K classical and 29th in the freestyle at the DU Invite on Jan. 20…placed 28th in both the 20K freestyle and 10K classical at the Spencer Nelson/CU Invite, Jan. 12-13.

Junior (2012): Earned academic distinction as a Lobo Scholar-Athlete…placed 28th in the 10K freestyle and 22nd in the classical at the CU Invitational/Spencer Nelson Memorial on Jan. 13…finished 25th in the 5K classical and 23rd in the 10K freestyle at the Alaska Anchorage Invitational Feb. 4 and 6… finished 22nd in both the 10K freestyle and the 20K classical at the Seawolf Invitational Feb. 9 and 10…at the RMISA Championships/NCAA West Regional (Feb. 24-25), placed 25th in the 10K freestyle and 22nd in the 20K classic.

Sophomore (2011): Finished in 26th place in the men’s 10K freestyle at the Jade Enterprises/UNM Invitational (Feb. 5)…finished 26th in the men’s 10K freestyle at the Utah Invitational (Jan. 22).

Prior to UNM: Attended Lambertseter Videregaende Skole…claimed eleventh place in the 2007 Norwegian Junior Nationals…two top-25 finishes in the 2008 and 2009 Norwegian Cup skate races.

Personal: Born Jan. 26 in Oslo, Norway…son of Trond and Ingunn Solberg…has two siblings, Anette and Eirik…majoring in business administration…enjoys soccer and cycling.
