Earned his associates degree in psychology while playing basketball under head coach Daven Vo … Was named NJCAA Division 2 All-Americans … Helped the squad finish eighth among 16 teams at the NJCAA National Tournament.

Lettered four years in basketball at Corona del Sol High School, winning a Division I state title his senior year … Was rated as the No. 107 player in the nation according to Rivals.com … The 6’8” Arizona native was ranked by Fox Sports Next as the 12th best center in the 2014 recruiting class and as starter on the fifth-ranked team in the nation according to MaxPreps.
