AUDIO PRONUNCIATION

FRESHMAN (2025): Appeared in 16 games with one start at UTEP… threw 25.0 innings and finished with 19 strikeouts to 16 walks… combined with Lexi Atcitty to throw a shutout against Saint Joseph’s on March 8… threw 4.1 innings at New Mexico State on March 11 without allowing a hit while striking out three… five games with multiple strikeouts, striking out three in four games… finished with a 5.88 ERA.


HIGH SCHOOL: Two-time 5A district champion (2022, 2023), was a 5A New Mexico state runner-up in 2022 and 5A New Mexico state champion in 2024 at Centennial High School… 5A all-state pitcher in 2023 and 5A all-district pitcher in 2021, 2022 and 2023… carried a 1.11 ERA with 134 strikeouts while hitting .426 behind seven doubles, four triples, seven home runs and 43 total hits her junior season.

CLUB: Played for NM Ice and Zia Storm.

PERSONAL: Birthday is Nov. 29… born in Las Cruces, N.M. … daughter of Deborah Chavez… has three siblings: Dominique, Samantha and Nathaniel… majoring in family and child studies.
