HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Mountain Vista High School, playing under David Wolff … was a state champion in 2015 during his freshman season at Houston High School in Germantown, Tenn. and was a two-time All-State team selection during his freshman and sophomore year … was a National Honor Society member and made his school’s Honor Roll.

CLUB CAREER: Played at the club level for Real Colorado USSDA under former Lobo Danny Bills, Solar SC USSDA in Texas and Lobos Rush in Tennessee … three-time club state champion … ranked in the top-25 of players in the class of 2018 Southwest Region … led his team to a USYS National Runner-Up and to a Far West Regional Championship in 2014.

PERSONAL: Born in Chertsey, United Kingdom to Tom and Michelle Shepherd … has three siblings, Burl (16), Claire (13) and Sara (13) … his favorite athlete is Steven Gerrard … his favorite food is chicken … his favorite movie is Limitless … majoring in business … when asked why he chose UNM, Shepherd said, “I felt welcomed at UNM and loved the culture both on and off the field. The facilities are great and the people are all motivated.”
