Named to Academic All-Mountain West Team… Played in all 22 of the Lobos games during the season, starting in 21…. Clocked 1901 minutes, the fourth most on the team.
2016 JUNIOR SEASON
Started all 19 games for the Lobos last season at center back … Played 1,618 minutes, the third most on the team in 2016 … Took three shots with one on goal … One of five players to start each game for the Lobos.
2015 SOPHOMORE SEASON
Academic All-MW selection … Appeared in 13 games for the Lobos and recorded 291 minutes of playing time … Played 40 minutes versus UNLV (10-4-2015).
2014 FRESHMAN SEASON: Academic All-MW selection… Appeared in nine matches, starting three of them for a total of 367 minutes played… Did not attempt a shot… Made first career start versus Weber State (9-7-2014).
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Neil Powell at Capistrano Valley and was a teammate of Casey Murphy … was a high school teammate of Lobo forward Katie Hinman …helped CVHS to the 2013 Sea View League championship … was a CIF semifinalist in 2013 … her team was ranked in the top-10 by MaxPreps, going 19-2 championship.
PERSONAL: Born on April 11, 1996 … parents are Andy and Cheri Ballantyne … has two sisters, Alex and Erica … Alex attends the University of the Pacific.
