Samaha, Noroozian to Compete at ITA Sectionals

MALIBU, Calif. — Georgio Samaha and Aram Noroozian, who have combined for 18 singles wins this fall, will look to keep it going against elite competition at the ITA Sectionals, hosted by Pepperdine in Malibu, Calif.

Play begins at 10 a.m. PT every day; doubles will go first, then singles will follow. There will be one round of singles and one doubles match per day until Sunday, which will have both the semifinals and finals.  Matches will be livestreamed via PlaySight here for six of the nine upper courts.

Noroozian in on a three-match winning streak and is 9-3 in the fall, and Samaha is 9-5.  Both players, who have played doubles together as well, trail teammate Daniil Kakhniuk for the most fall tournament wins.
