Jalen Dominguez Named Acting Deputy Athletic Director

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Jalen Dominguez, who serves as Senior Associate Athletic Director and Executive Director of the Lobo Club, has been named as the Acting Deputy Athletic Director for Lobo Athletics.

As the Acting Deputy, Jalen Dominguez will be responsible for all external constituents in the department of the athletics and handle many of the day-to-day duties that Dave Williams oversaw.  Dominguez will also serve as the sport supervisor for football.  Williams was named Interim Vice President and Director of Athletics on August 21.

Dominguez started with Lobo Athletics in January of 2016, rising from the ranks of Assistant Athletic Director for Development.  He has also spent time in the President’s Office at UNM overseeing the President’s Club, and prior to that he worked in the development office at UCLA as an associate director.

Dominguez is a native of Albuquerque and he holds a master’s degree from UNM, earning it in business administration in 2011.  He and his wife Stephanie have a son Luke, and a daughter, Grace.
