Lobos Host Bulldogs Wednesday Night

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— Coming off of a 2-0 week, the Lobos return to The Pit to host Fresno State on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.

UNM enters the game 13-6 on the season, 4-2 in the MW and 10-2 at home, while Fresno State is 10-9 on the season, 3-3 in MW games and 1-5 on the road. The Lobos are 17-16 all-time against the Bulldogs, 10-4 in games played in Albuquerque

The Lobos have been led in scoring by five different players (with five games of players sharing the team high) and in rebounds by five different players with three games of multiple players sharing the team lead this season.

Vianè Cumber has led in scoring in five games, Nyah Wilson in four games, Aniyah Augmon and Paula Reus in two games, and Charlotte Kohl once. Reus has led or tied for the team lead in points six times this season. On the boards, Kohl has led in six games, Cumber five times, Augmon and Wilson in two each and Reus in one game. Cumber has led or tied for the lead in rebounding in six of the last seven games, leading in four and tied for the team high against No. 20 Gonzaga and No. 25 UNLV.

In conference, Wilson has led in three of the five games (Nevada, Colorado State and Wyoming), Cumber twice (Utah State and UNLV and Augmon once (Boise State), with Cumber leading in rebounds against Nevada, Utah State, Colorado State and Wyoming, and Kohl against Boise State. Augmon and Cumber tied for the team high in rebounds at UNLV.

CONSISTENT CONTRIBUTORS
Aniyah Augmon has scored in double figures in a team-high 14 games, while Nyah Wilson has scored in double figures in 13 games (with scoring 20 or more points in five games) and Paula Reus in 11 games. Vianè Cumber has scored in double figures in nine games with four games with 20-plus points. Augmon and Wilson have scored in double figures in the last six games. Charlotte Kohl has scored in double figures five times and has three double-doubles on the season. UNM has four players averaging double figures led by Wilson (13.3 ppg), Augmon (12.4), Cumber (12.1 ppg) and Reus (11.4).

UNM is 9-2 when Reus scores in double figures, 10-3 when Wilson scores in double figures and 10-4 when Augmon scores in double figures.

Augmon and Wilson have scored in double figures in all six conference games, with Cumber in four and Reus in three. Three Lobos are averaging double figures in conference games led by Wilson at 16.3 ppg, Augmon 15.7 ppg and Cumber is 12.3 ppg.

STEAL THE SHOW
Aniyah Augmon has recorded multiple steals in 12 games with two against Boise State and Montana State, three against Eastern Illinois, Tarleton State, Hampton and Utah State, four against Georgia Tech, Colorado State and UNLV, five against New Mexico State and Wyoming, eight against Pepperdine. She’s had five or more steals in three games.

In her three years at UNM, she’s had 24 games with multiple steals and 42 games with a steal. She currently leads the MW in steals per game at 2.6 and her 46 steals are 21 more than the second-highest player on the team. In MW games, Augmon leads the conference with 18 steals and a 3.0 steals per game average.

ABOUT FRESNO STATE
The Bulldogs are led in scoring (14.6 ppg) and rebounds (6.8 rpg) by Mia Jacobs, who has led the team in scoring in eight games including the last three. In MW games, Jacobs is averaging 16.2 ppg and 7.2 rpg. Jacobs also leads the team with 15 three-pointers in MW games, shooting 44.1% from three-point range. On the season, FS is averaging 68.2 ppg, allowing 62.2 ppg and scoring 67.7 ppg and allowing 62.5 ppg in conference games.

The Bulldogs lead the MW in three-point field-goal percentage in MW games at 36.7% (51-139) and with 8.5 three-pointers a game. They also lead in turnover margin at +4.2.
