Bastien Amat Representing France at World Amateur Team Championships

ABU DHABI –– The New Mexico senior Bastien Amat is representing his native country of France this week at the 2023 World Amateur Team Championship. The event is being held October 18-21 at the National Course at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

The event, which dates back to 1958, consists of top amateur players from around the world competing as a national team for the Eisenhower Trophy. The tournament has four rounds with each country counting the two low scores from their two or three member team each round.

The tournament is held every other year and is being held in the Midde East for the first time in history.
