2023 Men’s Cross Country / Distance Tryouts

WHEN: Monday, Aug. 28 2023 –

CHECK-IN / START TIME: 6 a.m. / 7 a.m.

WHERE: University of New Mexico Track and Field / Soccer Complex

1800 Avenida Cesar Chavez SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106

Info:

· The purpose of this tryout is for anyone not currently on the UNM Men’s Track and Field roster to exemplify the capable fitness to compete at the NCAA Division 1 level.

· In order to participate in the time trial, ALL participants MUST have a verified UNM Banner ID# AND sign a tryout waiver distributed by UNM sports medicine.

· The tryout waiver will be available to sign at check in at 1 p.m.

· There will be two different options for time trials.

· The Standard – 150m: 16.5, 300m: 36.5

· Please Note – All performances will be taken into consideration. All roster spots are at the discretion of the coaching staff. The time trial alone does not guarantee your addition to the roster.
