Tomaszek Named to All-Conference Team

Colorado Springs, Colo. – In the wake of the Mountain West Conference Championship meet, the conference has recognized 72 student-athletes to the All-Mountain West team on Thursday. Among those 72 swimmers and divers, and 15 relay teams, was New Mexico’s Ola Tomaszek.

Tomaszek, a senior, was named to the all-conference team for the first time in her career. She earned the right to be named to the team by competing in the A-Final of both the 200-yard breaststroke – where she took eighth place with a team record and a career-best 2:15.40 – and the 100-yard breaststroke – placing seventh with a career-best 1:01.61.
