Women’s Golf Opens Play at Hurricane Invitational

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The New Mexico women’s golf team opened play Monday at the Hurricane Invitational with the first two rounds of play at the Biltmore Golf Course. The Lobos shot 7-over during the first 36 holes to sit in 10th place after the opening day of their final event of the fall season.

UNLV is the leader after the first two rounds at 12-under, with BYU second at 7-under and SMU in third at 5-under.

New Mexico shot even par in the first round before shooting 7-over in the second round. Jenny Lertsadwattana is the top Lobo on the individual leaderboard, T-15th at 2-under after rounds of 68 and 74. Maria Caparros Levin shot 72 in both rounds to end the day at even par. Lauren Lehigh posted rounds of 77 and 72 to finish the day at 5-over, while Myah McDonald is at 7-over and Chloe Lauer is at 8-over. Lisa-Marie Pagliano, playing as an individual, is at 3-over through two rounds.

The final round of the Hurricane Invitational is Tuesday at the Biltmore Golf Course.
