Women’s Golf Returns to Action This Week in Colorado

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico women’s golf team returns to action Friday-Sunday as it travels to Colorado for the Ron Moore Intercollegiate. The event, hosted by the University of Denver, will be at the 6,756-yard, par-72 Highlands Ranch Golf Club.

The tournament will have one round per day, beginning Friday and running through Sunday. Live scoring will be available on BirdieFire.com.

This year’s tournament features 16 schools, including 10 teams ranked currently in the Golfweek top 100. The Lobos, at No. 33, are the highest ranked team in the field and are joined by No. 34 Vanderbilt, No. 67 Denver, No. 72 Colorado State, No. 81 Tulane, No. 85 Chattanooga, No. 92 Incarnate Word, No. 94 Delaware, No. 95 Xavier and No. 97 San Diego State. Fresno State, Grand Canyon, Hawai’I, Iowa, Northern Arizona and Wyoming round out the field.

New Mexico’s lineup for the event is Napat “Jenny” Lertsadwattana, Lauren Lehigh, Myah McDonald, Maria Caparros Levin and Annie Saechueng. Lisa-Marie Pagliano and Chloe Lauer will also compete as individuals.

The event is the second of the season for New Mexico. The Lobos opened the year with a third place finish in their home event, the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational, presented by Margaret Moses Branch.
