CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Six members of the New Mexico women’s golf program were named 2021-22 WGCA All-American Scholars, the Women’s Golf Coaches Association announced this week. The Lobos had six players honored for the second straight year, while having the most honorees in the Mountain West.

A total of 1,485 women’s collegiate golfers were recognized with the prestigious honor among all divisions. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics as the minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.

Caroline Jansson was honored for the fourth consecutive year, while Napat “Jenny” Lertsadwattana and Lauren Lehigh became three-time honorees. Myah McDonald was named to the team for the second time while Chloe Lauer and Lisa-Marie Pagliano earned their first recognition.

For the second straight year, all five of the Lobos in the lineup at the Mountain West Championship (Jansson, Lehigh, Lertsadwattana, McDonald, Pagliano) were honored.
