ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico women’s golf team will have two individuals competing next month as the Lobos host the NCAA Albuquerque Regional. Juniors Jenny Lertsadwattana and Lauren Lehigh were selected to compete in the event, held May 9-11 at the UNM Championship Course.

It will be the second NCAA appearance for both players, as both competed last year when the Lobos played in the NCAA Columbus Regional.

The 12 teams competing in the Albuquerque Regional are Oregon, Florida, Texas, Arizona, Georgia, TCU, Louisville, North Texas, Oklahoma, Sam Houston State, Northern Arizona and New Mexico State. Joining Lertsdwattana and Lehigh as individuals were individuals from Maryland, San Diego State and Southern Utah. The top four teams at the regional will advance to the NCAA Championships, held May 20-25 in Scottsdale, Ariz. The top two individuals (not on advancing teams) will also advance to the NCAA Championships.
