Lauren Lehigh was UNM’s top finisher at the tournament, shooting a final round 73 to finish T-3rd at even par. The Lobos’ low round on Wednesday came from Jenny Lertsadwattana, who had a 3-under 69, the second lowest round on the course on the day. She finished at 6-over overall for a T-10th finish.  Myah McDonald shot 75 in the final round, parring each of the last 10 holes of the day. Caroline Jansson shot 78 and Lisa-Marie Pagliano shot 79 during Wednesday’s final round.

“We fought until the end,” said head coach Jill Trujillo. “Our word of the day was perseverance, and they did just that. I am so proud of these Lobos for how they battled this week.”

New Mexico will now await the NCAA Championship selection show on April 27. If the Lobos are selected to compete, they will play in the NCAA Albuquerque Regional on May 9-11 that New Mexico is hosting at the UNM Championship Course.
