Lobos Travel to California for Mountain West Championship

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. – The New Mexico women’s golf team concludes begins the postseason when it travels to California for the Mountain West Championship. The tournament will be held at the 6,270-yard, par-72 Dinah Shore Course at the Mission Hills Country Club, home of the Chevron Championship on the LPGA Tour.

The tournament will run Monday-Wednesday, with one round each day. Live scoring will be available on Golfstat.com.

The Lobos are the reigning Mountain West Champions, having won last year’s event at Mission Hills Country Club. New Mexico is searching for its 10th Mountain West title, having won the event in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2014 and 2021.

New Mexico enters the tournament ranked No. 53 nationally. San Jose State and UNLV are the two highest ranked teams in the conference, at No. 5 and No. 50, respectively. No. 62 San Diego State, No. 88 Nevada, No. 89 Fresno State and No. 95 Colorado State are also ranked in the top 100, while Boise State and Wyoming round out the nine-team field.

New Mexico’s lineup for the event is Napat “Jenny” Lertsadwattana, Lauren Lehigh, Myah McDonald, Caroline Jansson and Lisa-Marie Pagliano. Chloe Lauer is the alternate.
