Lobos Finish 13th at Chambers Bay Invitational

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – The New Mexico women’s golf team concluded its regular season on Tuesday with the final round of the Chambers Bay Invitational, hosted by Seattle at Chambers Bay Golf Club. The Lobos shot 80-over at the tournament to finish in 13th place.

UCLA won the tournament with a score of 12-over. Washington was second at 30-over and Pepperdine was third at 31-over.

Lauren Lehigh was the low Lobo at the event, shooting a 3-over 75 in the final round to finish at 11-over. Myah McDonald finished at 15-over, Chloe Lauer finished at 29-over, while Jenny Lertsadwattana and Caroline Jansson each finished at 30-over.

The Lobos will return to action with the Mountain West Championship, held April 18-20 in Palm Springs, Calif. New Mexico is the reigning conference champion.
