Lobos Open Play at Chambers Bay Invitational

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – The New Mexico women’s golf team opened play Monday at the Chambers Bay Invitational, hosted by Seattle at Chambers Bay Golf Club. The Lobos shot 51-over the first two rounds of the event to finish the day in 15th place.

UCLA holds the 36-hole lead at 1-under. Washington is in second at 8-over, followed by Pepperdine at 14-over.

Myah McDonald and Lauren Lehigh led the Lobos on Monday, both finishing the day at 8-over. Chloe Lauer is at 17-over, Jenny Lertsadwattana is at 18-over and Caroline Jansson is at 23-over to round out the lineup.

The Chambers Bay Invitational concludes with the final round on Tuesday.
