Lobos Conclude Regular Season Schedule at Chambers Bay

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – The New Mexico women’s golf team concludes its regular season schedule when it travels to Washington for the Chambers Bay Invitational. The tournament, hosted by Seattle, will be held at the 6,046-yard, par-72 Chambers Bay Golf Club, which hosted the 2015 U.S. Open.

The tournament will run Monday-Tuesday, with two rounds played on Monday and the final round on Tuesday. Live scoring will be available on Birdiefire.com.

The 18-team field includes three teams currently ranked in the top 50 of the Golfstat rankings. The Lobos, ranked No. 53 nationally, will be competing against No. 15 UCLA, No. 32 BYU, and No. 50 Washington. Host Seattle, Boise State, Colorado State, Denver, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Grand Canyon, Idaho, New Mexico State, Pepperdine, Sacramento State, San Francisco, SMU and Wyoming round out the field.

New Mexico’s lineup for the event is Napat “Jenny” Lertsadwattana, Lauren Lehigh, Myah McDonald, Caroline Jansson and Chloe Lauer.

The Lobos are coming off an eighth place finish at the ASU/PING Invitational two weeks ago in Phoenix.
