Lobos Finish Day One of Zone E Diving Championships

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Hannah Tiendas led a triumvarate of Lobos in the Zone E 1-meter diving championships, held on the campus of Northern Arizona University.  Teindas was UNM’s top finisher, with Daphne Scheck and Alex Robertson both following right behind.

Tiendas had a 215.00 on her six dives, placing 47th in the field.  She barely edged out teammate Daphne Scheck, who finished 48th with a 214.70.  Robertson was also right behind in 49th at 209.45.  The top 16 divers after the six preliminary dives advanced to the finals.

The 3-meter dive competition is on Tuesday starting at 11:30 am, and it will feature Robertson and Scheck among the 52 entries.
