Lobo Men’s Golf Signs Two to 2022 Recruiting Class

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – The New Mexico men’s golf program announced today that two prospective student-athletes have signed a National Letter of Intent to attend New Mexico next season. Virgilio Paz (Caracas, Venezuela) and Alvaro Portillo (Madrid, Spain) signed their official commitments this week to form the Lobos’ 2022 recruiting class.

“This is a great class for Lobo golf,” said head coach Glen Millican. “Both Alvaro and Virgilio have had great success throughout their careers and will make us a stronger team right away. We are excited to have them choose UNM and look forward to working with them when they arrive next season.”
