Lobo Men’s Golf Travels to Nevada for Wolf Pack Classic

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico men’s golf team returns to action as it travels to Nevada for the Wolf Pack Classic in Reno. The tournament will be held at the 7,302-yard, par-72 Hidden Valley Country Club.

The first two rounds of the tournament will be played on Monday, beginning with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. PT. The final round will be Tuesday, starting with a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring will be available on Golfstat.com.

This year’s tournament features 14 schools. Joining the Lobos and host Nevada are Air Force, BYU, Fresno State, Long Beach State, Loyola Marymount, Saint Mary’s, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose State, UC Davis, UCLA and UNLV.

New Mexico’s lineup for the event is Sam Choi, Albert Boneta, Bastien Amat, Matthew Watkins and Brandon Shong. Ignacio Arcaya is playing as an individual.

The event will be the third of the season for New Mexico. The Lobos finished second in their last event, as they hosted the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate at the UNM Championship Course.

This year marks the first appearance for the Lobos at the Wolf Pack Classic, which is making its return this season after not being held since 2010.
