ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico volleyball team, in conjunction with the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation, is holding a “Let’s Get Muddy” promotion for the Lobos’ November 4 match against Nevada.
Fans who come to the match wearing Mudd Volleyball attire — including shirts, hats or anything with the Mudd Volleyball logo — are eligible for a $3 ticket to the match, which starts at noon inside Johnson Center.
During the match, the Foundation will be in attendance to promote their 2018 Mudd Volleyball event. The event promoters will also announce the date of the 2018 event.
Mudd Volleyball is a recreational volleyball tournament that supports the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation. The tournament, which is open to experience volleyball players and newcomers to the sport, is unique in that it is played in mud.
The Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation is a nonprofit that helps children with physical disabilities throughout New Mexico and supports the work of Carrie Tingley Hospital, New Mexico’s only hospital for children with disabilities.
