High School: Lettered at Alexander Hamilton High School and coach Ernest King … participated in both football and wrestling … two-time All Western League as a defensive end as well as two-time Defensive Lineman of the Year … was also twice named all-city for CIF Los Angeles … recorded 51 tackles as a senior with 10.0 sacks for 47 yards in losses … recorded 20 tackles as a junior with 15.0 sacks for 77 yards in losses, including two forced fumbles and an interception … finished third in his conference in wrestling as a freshman.
