2017 (Freshman Season): Played in all 12 games at defensive end, and he recorded five tackles … led the team in sacks with 2.5 for 18 yards … had a career-high two tackles against Air Force … had a hand in a sack in each of the last three games of the season … recorded his first career sack against Texas A&M … also had a sack against UNLV … credited with a half-sack against San Diego State.

2016 (Freshman Season): Redshirted.

High School: Lettered at Alexander Hamilton High School and coach Ernest King … participated in both football and wrestling … two-time All Western League as a defensive end as well as two-time Defensive Lineman of the Year … was also twice named all-city for CIF Los Angeles … recorded 51 tackles as a senior with 10.0 sacks for 47 yards in losses … recorded 20 tackles as a junior with 15.0 sacks for 77 yards in losses, including two forced fumbles and an interception … finished third in his conference in wrestling as a freshman.
