New Mexico: A rangy defensive back who transferred from Prairie View A&M, where due to NCAA rules he was immediately eligible at New Mexico.
2016 (Senior Season): Redshirted.
2015 (Junior Season): Played in nine games including the last eight, both on special teams and at safety … did make one start … recorded seven tackles on the season … twice had a career-high three tackles, against Hawai’i and at Boise State … also had a tackle at Nevada.
2014 (Sophomore Season): Played in three games with no stats, mostly on special teams … came to the program late in fall camp and missed several games due to injury.
Prairie View A&M: Started five games as a true freshman, recording 32 tackles, 18 of which were solos … picked off four passes for PVA&M to go along with two pass break ups and one forced fumble … recorded a career-high of 14 tackles against Alcorn State.
High School: Lettered for four seasons for the South Sumter Raiders and Inman Sherman … also lettered in basketball, baseball and weightlifting … helped lead the Raiders to a pair of District titles in 2011 and 2012, and a 2012 region title as well … as a senior he was First Team All-State, and a honorable mention member of the Florida Class 4A “Elite Team” … also was First Team All-District and a Class 4A Player of the Year nominee … was a Second Team All-State pick as a junior … in basketball he was the District Defensive Player of the Year.
