2022 (Redshirt Senior Season): Started and played in nine games, missing three with a collapsed lung … recorded 28 tackles on the season with 0.5 TFLs … added an interception and six pass breakups … turned in three pass breakups against Boise State with three tackles … had two more PBUs the next week against UTEP with four tackles … had his lone interception of the season in that game, returning it seven yards … was having a terrific game against UNLV with seven tackles when he suffered what turned out to be a punctured lung while making a tackle … amazingly, missed just one play in that game before sitting out the next three … returned to the lineup for the final month of the season, recording seven tackles over the final four games … had a pass breakup against San Diego State … ended the season with 25 career PBUs, tying for fifth on the career list.
2021 (Redshirt Junior Season): Saw action in 10 games, starting nine .. recorded 31 tackles on the season (20 solos), with one interception and a team-high tying seven passes broken up … recorded a season-high five tackles four times during the season, against Houston Baptist, Texas A&M, UTEP and Colorado State … had an interception which he returned for 16 yards against Boise State … also had a PBU in that game … had two PBUs against New Mexico State and UTEP, and one against Houston Baptist and Texas A&M … recorded his only TFL, for three yards, against Houston Baptist in the opener.
2020 (Redshirt Sophomore Season): Saw action in five games, all starts, after missing the opening two games of the season … recorded nine tackles including one for a loss and had three pass breakups … opposing quarterbacks completed just 35% of their throws against him, easily the best mark on the team … recorded a season-best four tackles against Utah State … had a tackle for loss in that game as well … had pass breakups against Nevada, Wyoming and Fresno State.
2019 (Redshirt Freshman Season): Started and played in all 12 games at cornerback … was fourth on the team in total defensive snaps with 731 … recorded 41 tackles, 2.0 TFLs for four yards, and he was second on the team with nine passes broken up … had a career-best four passes broken up along with four tackles against San Jose State … also had two passes broken up against Liberty and Utah State … recorded a career-high six tackles against New Mexico State … also had five tackles against Liberty and Nevada … led all UNM defensive backs by limiting opposing quarterbacks to just a .464 completion percentage as opposing receivers caught just 39 of 84 throws.
2018 (Freshman Season): Redshirted, but did see action in the final three games of the season.
