Missouri:  Played sparingly last season for Missouri as a redshirt freshman in 2020, originally opting out of the season … he returned, playing in one game, getting 13 snaps on offense and three on special teams.

High School: Was rated four-star prospect by both ESPN.com and 247sports.com, and both had him ranked as the No. 17 offensive guard in the nation … he was a First Team All-State selection as a senior as Lutheran North lit it up on offense, averaging over 40 points per game ..,. a two-way player in high school, Buford also played defensive line, and he was a standout on the basketball team as well.
