Junior College: Played one season each at College of the Sequoias (2017) for coach Irv Pankey and at Fresno City College (2016) for Tony Caviglia … played in eight games, recording 13 tackles, one TFL, four breakups and an interception at College of the Sequoias … averaged 20.5 yards on six kickoff returns … played in nine games, recording 17 tackles and on interception at Fresno City … also returned three punts for a 7.7-yard average.
High School: Lettered at Edison High School for coach Matt Johnson … led Edison to a 12-2 record as a senior and the school’s first section title in 39 years … named to the Fresno Bee’s “Fab 50” players in the Central Section … ranked with three stars out of high school, he originally committed to Fresno State before going to junior college.
