New Mexico: Bruising running back who loves to initiate contact … UNM’s go-to short yardage back but has deceptive speed … continuing the strong lineage of football players from ICC, a list that includes Duce Staley and Joe Horn.

2016 (Junior Season): Has played in 13 games, starting four … is fourth on the team in rushing yards with 656 on 143 carries … had 18 rushing touchdowns, the second-most in a single-season in school history … averaged a rushing touchdown on every 7.8 carries, a mark which led the nation … also had five receptions for 94 yards … had a career-best 121 yards rushing and three touchdowns against Wyoming … included in that game was a career-long 53-yard touchdown … also had two catches for 58 yards, including a career-long 30-yarder … also rushed for three touchdowns and 83 yards against San Jose State … had a pair of rushing touchdowns against South Dakota and Air Force … rushed for 44 yards against Air Force, and although that was one of only two games in which he didn’t score a touchdown, he scored a key two-point conversion to tie the game at 21 in the second half … also had rushing touchdowns against New Mexico State, Rutgers, ULM, Hawai’i, Nevada and Colorado State.

2015 (Sophomore Season): Played in 12 games on the season, only missing the San Jose State game … rushed for 232 yards on 53 carries with seven touchdowns, the third-most on the team … went 8-for-8 on fourth down conversion attempts … saw plenty of action in the opener, rushing 11 times for 53 yards … actually had his season-high of 57 yards in the finale against Air Force, scoring on runs of 44 and 18 yards … also converted a fourth down attempt in that game … had 55 yards on five carries with two touchdowns against Wyoming … big play came on a fourth-and-1 in the third quarter when he bolted through for a 43-yard touchdown … had short touchdown runs against New Mexico State, Utah State and Boise State … his touchdown at Utah State turned into the game-winner … rushed for 23 yards on eight carries against Arizona.

Junior College: Lettered for one season at Itawamba Community College in Fulton, Mississippi, playing for head coach Sean Cannon … led the Indians in rushing with 1,243 yard on 213 carries over nine games … averaged a solid 5.8 yards per carry … scored eight touchdowns on the ground … was second on the team in receptions with 26, going for 257 yards … caught one touchdown pass … his 1,500 all-purpose yards, and 166.7 all purpose yards per game were more than triple any other member of the team … rushed for 100 yards in seven of his nine games, and he never rushed for less than 84 … had his best game in a 38-19 win over Northeast Mississippi Community College, rushing 22 times for 258 yards and three touchdowns, with a long of 53 yards … followed that up with three more TDs in his next game, and they were all needed in a 52-48 win over Mississippi Delta Community College … had 138 yards on 30 carries in that matchup … broke the 160-yard mark three times on the season in nine games.

High School: Lettered in football at Meridian High School … helped Meridian to a 10-4 record as a senior … rushed for 1,203 yards on 190 carries with 16 touchdowns during his senior season … added 39 receptions out of the backfield for 498 yards and six more touchdowns … added 473 kickoff return yards and 158 punt return yards, including one kickoff return for an 82-yard touchdown … averaged 166.6 all-purpose yards per game … led team in rushing as a junior with 887 yards and eight touchdowns on 135 carries in only nine games … averaged 98.6 yards per game … had one receiving touchdown, eight catches, and 131 yards receiving.
