New Mexico: Late signee to the roster who played an important role in UNM’s cornerback rotation … became a starter midway through the season and proved to be an excellent coverage player and tackler.

2015 (Senior Season): Played in all 13 games at cornerback and started seven of the final eight … recorded 35 tackles, 32 of which were solos … led the team with six pass breakups and added two tackles for loss and a fumble recovery … his fumble recovery was a big one, picking up a red zone fumble against Nevada and racing 77 yards for a touchdown that brought the Lobos within a score in the fourth quarter … really came on over the end of the season, recording pass break ups in each of the final three games … had two break ups along with five tackles against Colorado State … added five tackles and a break up against Boise State … also broke up a long pass against Air Force … recorded tackles for losses in back-to-back games, against New Mexico State and Nevada … his tackle against New Mexico State came in the red zone on fourth-and-one … had four tackles in his first Lobo action, against Mississippi Valley State … had three tackles and a pass break up against Arizona in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl.

Junior College: Played at Hartnell College where he was named First Team All-CCCAA Conference as a cornerback after his sophomore year … played in all 11 games as a sophomore, recording 32 tackles with a team-high 10 passes broken up and a team-high seven interceptions, totaling 48 yards in returns … recorded two interceptions against Monterey fo rthe second time in his career and had an interception in six of Hartnell’s 11 games … as a freshman he recorded 32 tackles in 10 games with four for losses of 33 yards … also added a sack, nine passes broken up and four interceptions … picked off two passes against Monterey … scored a defensive two-point conversion when he intercepted a pass against Cabrillo and returned it 98 yards.
