Diquon Woodhouse

New Mexico: Moved to defense during SPring Camp in 2016 … went to a Naval Prep school for a year out of high school … a 2015 Spring Camp Hard Hat winner, finishing in the top 10.

2015 (Redshirt Freshman Season): Played in 11 games, and turned into a valuable member of UNM’s special teams units … had seven carries for 12 yards and a touchdown … had five carries for five yards with a long of seven yards in the opener against Mississippi Valley State … scored his first career touchdown against San Jose State on a 4-yard run. 

2014 (Freshman Season): Redshirted.

High School: Lettered as a running back and a safety at Altus High School in Oklahoma … was rated No. 27 overall in The Oklahoman Super 30 … very fast, clocking a 4.46 40-yard dash before getting injured and missing most of his senior season … originally committed to Navy out of high school, but went to the Naval Prep Academy instead before enrolling at New Mexico.

Personal: Full name is Diquon Turaee Woodhouse … born April 30, 1994 … parents are George and Lorraine Woodhouse … his brother Trevor Sterling wrestled at Wyoming and his sister Tisay Woodhouse competes in the shot put and the hammer at Cowley College.
