2014 (Redshirt Freshman Season): Played in 11 games, all as a reserve safety, but was in the regular rotation the entire season … also played on special teams … only missed the Arizona State game … recorded 28 tackles on the season, 12 of which were solo … had a career-high eight tackles in a 21-9 win over UTSA … added six tackles against Utah State, including a season-high four solos … had three tackles against Boise State.

High School: A three-year letter winner who played on both sides of the ball for coach Shane Martin … was the Hornets’ leading tackler and named the District 18-4A Co-Offensive Player of the Year as a senior … rushed 21 times for 203 yards and caught 12 passes for 230 yards, scoring 15 touchdowns (13 rushing, two receiving) on offense … added a 42-yard punt return for a score … notched 72 tackles out of the secondary and intercepted three passes, returning one for a touchdown … Huntsville went 7-4 in 2012 and advanced to the Texas State 4A Division II playoffs … was named second-team All-District at cornerback during his junior season after recording 65 tackles and two interceptions … earned honorable mention All-District at both wide receiver and corner as a sophomore.
