Academics: Named Mountain West All-Academic in 2020, 2021, and 2022 and Mountain West Scholar-Athlete in 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24.

2025 (Redshirt Super Senior Season): Played and started all 13 games ... was second on the team with 70 tackles, and had three pass breakups, an interception, and a half-sack ... had a season-high 11 tackles in the finale against San Diego State with a pass breakup ... picked off a pass to clinch UNM’s 35-10 upset of UCLA at the Rose Bowl ... opened the season in his first start in two years with a nine-tackle game against Michigan ... had a PBU and three tackles gainst New Mexico State ... had eight tackles and combined on a sack against Colorado State ... had a key fourth down pass breakup in the final minute against UNLV ... had six tackles against both Boise State and Utah State ... had three tackles in the Rate Bowl.

2023 (Redshirt Junior Season):  Played and started five games before missing the final six games with an injury … despite only playing in five games, his 46 tackles still finished sixth on the team in tackles … also had 3.0 tackles for loss, a forced fumble, a quarterback hurry and a blocked field goal … opened the season with 11 tackles against Texas A&M with a pass breakup and a quarterback hurry … blocked a 48-yard field goal attempt to end the first half … missed the Tennessee Tech game but came back to record eight tackles against New Mexico State despite missing most of the second half and playing only 27 snaps … had a five-yard tackle for a loss in that game … had a career-high 14 tackles against UMass in a 34-31 overtime win … also added a tackle for loss … had a TFL and nine tackles against Wyoming … made his final appearance of the season against San Jose State, recording four tackles.

2022 (Junior Season): Played and started in three games before suffering torn ACL against UTEP … earned a redshirt for the season … recorded 16 tackles in basically nine quarters … had a season-best 11 tackles against Boise State with six solo tackles … had a forced fumble against Boise State … recorded four tackles and a pass breakup against Maine … had one tackle before tearing his ACL on punt coverage against UTEP … despite tearing his ACL, he hopped off the field under his own power.

2021 (Sophomore Season): Played and started 11 games, missing only UNM’s game at Fresno State … finished second on the team with 81 tackles … tied for the team lead with two interceptions and tied for fourth on the squad with four pass breakups … added 1.5 TFLs … was named Honorable Mention All-Mountain West … had three double-digit tackle games … opened the season with a career-high tying 12 tackles against Houston Baptist … also had 11 tackles against Texas A&M and San Diego State … had an interception in the season opener against Houston Baptist, and also had a pass breakup … forced a fumble that led to a clinching field goal in the final minutes … had eight tackles against Boise State … had seven tackles against both Wyoming and Air Force … added an interception against Texas A&M along with a PBU … had PBUs against Wyoming and Boise State … recorded a TFL against Boise State and a half-tackle for loss against Houston Baptist.

2020 (Freshman Season): Started five and played in all seven games as the Lobo back …. was second on the team in tackles with 51 … had a pass breakup, a half sack and a forced fumble … had at least seven tackles in five of his seven games … opened his career with 10 tackles against San Jose State … had a career-high 12 tackles against Fresno State including his first career half-sack and first career TFL … broke up a pass against Wyoming … had seven tackles and a forced fumble against Utah State … had two tackles against both Hawai’i and Nevada.

High School:  Lettered in football at Amarillo High School for coach Gaylon Selmon … named First Team All-District 5-5A as a safety and All-District 3-5A by Amarillo.com … bounced back his senior year after suffering a season-ending injury on the opening kickoff of his junior year … also lettered in track and field.

Personal: Earned a degree and is now majoring in business administration … birthday is August 30, 2002.
