- Lettered in football at Dawson High School for coach Mike Allison, helping them to a 10-2 record.
- Rushed for 529 yards with three touchdowns as a senior, rushing for seven touchdowns and scoring 15.
- Was named the 23-6A Utility Player of the Year as well as First Team All-District at receiver.
- Was also named to the District 23-6A All-Academic Team.
