*Lettered at Brookfield High School for coach Jed Kennedy
*Was named First Team All-State by the Wisconsin Journal Sentinel as a senior
*After his junior season he was rated the No. 3 defensive end in Wisconsin by Wissports.net after earning first team all-conference honors
*Helped Brookfield Central to six shutouts his senior season in leading BCHS to the state title game
