2024 (Sophomore): Appeared in 18 games, primarily out of the bullpen, with one start on the year. Logged 26.1 innings, allowing 21 runs (11 earned) on 23 hits while walking 17 and striking out 30. Posted a 3.76 ERA, 1.52 WHIP, and averaged 10.25 strikeouts per nine innings.

2023 (Freshman): Went 0-0 with a 3.00 ERA (1 ER/3.0 IP) in four relief appearances … Made Illini debut on Feb. 25 at Southern Miss…struck out the first two batters that he faced. … Worked a career-high 2.0 innings on May 19 vs. UT Martin…retired all six batters faced.

Played for head coach Robert Puentas at Cibola High School … Four-year letterwinner … Twirled a no-hitter in the first round of the Albuquerque Metro Baseball Championships his senior season .. Had offers from Butler, Indiana State and New Mexico before choosing to attend Illinois as a true freshman.
