2015 (Junior Season): Played in 12 games, starting nine, skipping only the opener … second on the team in rushing for the second straight year with 848 yards … added six touchdowns on 131 carries … added 17 receptions out of the backfield for 185 yards … had a catch in 11 of his 12 games … opened the season with a solid effort against Tulsa going for 71 yards and two touchdowns on just nine carries … had a season-high 142 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries in a 38-29 win over New Mexico State … followed that up with 68 yards and a touchdown against Nevada on the ground with a career-high four catches for 29 yards as well … had 80 yards rushing against Hawai’i …. nearly had a second 100-yard game, finishing with 99 against San Jose State … scored on a career-long 79-yard run in that game, and added a 44-yard catch as well, also a career long … had 86 yards against Utah State on the ground with 15 receiving yards on a pair of catches … had 31 rushing yards and a touchdown with a 42-yard reception against Boise State … added 69 yards against Air Force in UNM’s 47-35 regular season finale win … rushed for 84 yards on 15 carries, and caught three passes for 27 against Arizona in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl.
2014 (Sophomore Season): Played in 11 games, starting nine … only game that he missed was the Fresno State game, UNM’s fourth … was second on the team in rushing with 809 yards on 150 carries … had eight rushing touchdowns on the season … averaged 5.4 yards per carry, and had a long run of 57 yards … also added 15 catches out of the backfield, the second-most receptions for a Lobo last season … had 123 yards and a touchdown … had his first career 100-yard game, actually rushing for 205 yards on 24 carries with a career-high three touchdowns against Boise State … had a season-long 57-yard run in that game … broke 70 yards rushing in five other games during the season … had his best all-around game against Arizona State, rushing for 73 yards on 15 carries and catching four passes for 65 yards and a touchdown … scored a rushing touchdown as part of a 71-yard day in the opener against UTEP … also had his lone kickoff return of 22 yards in that contest … had 87 yards and a rushing touchdown against Air Force, and then followed that up with an 80-yard rushing game with a touchdown at UNLV.
2013 (Freshman Season): Played in 10 games with three starts … finished the season with 220 rushing yards on 38 carries with five rushing touchdowns and a 5.8-yard average per carry … finished the season with his most productive day running the football in the season finale against Boise State … had 10 carries for 76 yards and one touchdown on a 22-yard run in the fourth quarter … carried the ball six times for 48 yards and a TD in the home finale against Colorado State … had a breakout game at San Diego State with five carries for 45 yards and two touchdowns, scoring on runs of 20 yards and five yards … also had one catch for minus-1 yard on the season.
High School: The Texas Class 11-4A Offensive Player of the Year in 2012 for the Knights and coach Carlton Nelson … ran for 1,720 yards and 21 touchdowns on 207 attempts … also had 246 receiving yards and two scores … named honorable mention All-State in Texas … Kimball went 9-3 in 2012 and advanced to the Texas Division I area round of the playoffs – the third straight season the Knights finished 9-3 and made it to the area round … rushed for 933 yards and 13 TDs on 108 attempts as a junior in 2011 … All-District 11-4A selection … had 1,166 yards on a 141 carries with 14 TDs as a sophomore in 2010 … also caught 14 passes for 189 yards and one TD that season … an All-District selection … finished with more than 3,700 rushing yards during his high school career … ranked as the No. 98 Dallas area recruit by the Dallas Morning News.
