New Mexico: Started out as the No. 3 quarterback and by the end of his rookie season he was the starter … possesses outstanding athletic ability and good arm strength … a 2015 Spring Camp Hard Hat winner. 

2015 (Redshirt Junior Season): Played in 11 games, starting eight … team went 7-1 in his eight starts … was 37-for-71 passing with six touchdown passes and 604 yards throwing … was third on the team in rushing with 658 yards on 101 carries with three touchdowns … saw first extensive action against of the season against Rutgers, going 8-for-11 passing for 84 yards, and rushing for 101 and a touchdown on 14 carries … had 45 rushing and 45 passing against San Jose State … rushed for 139 yards against Boise State, and also threw a touchdown pass … rushed for 51 and threw for 70 and two touchdowns against Air Force in a 45-40 win … rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown against Nevada … came on in relief and led UNM to three second half scores … was masterful against Wyoming, going 4-for-5 passing for 122 yards and a touchdown and rushing for a career-high 176 yards and a touchdown on just 12 carries.

2015 (Redshirt Sophomore Season): Played in 12 games on the season, starting those 12 … went 61-for-118 passing with 1045 yards and five touchdowns … rushed 147 times for 807 yards, which was third on the team … scored nine rushing touchdowns and had a long run of 70 yards … opened the season with a flourish, going 7-for-7 passing for 103 yards, adding 62 yards on the ground on five carries with a touchdown … threw for a season-high 141 yards and a touchdown, adding 35 yards on the ground against Tulsa … had his best back-to-back games against Wyoming and New Mexico State … rushed for 147 yards and a 56-yard touchdown to go along with 107 yards passing and a touchdown in a 38-28 win at Wyoming … followed that up with a career-high 157 yards and one touchdown, that from 70 yards, against New Mexico State … was solid against Hawai’i, going 9-for-16 for 125 yards and a touchdown … completed an 86-yard touchdown pass against Utah State … completed his only pass against Boise State, for 46 yards, before missing the remainder of the game with an injury … rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown against Colorado State … rushed for 68 and a touchdown, and threw for 135 yards on just four completions against Air Force … rushed for a career-high three touchdowns on 135 yards rushing with 110 yards passing and a touchdown in the 2015 Gildan New Mexico Bowl against Arizona.

2014 (Redshirt Freshman Season): Played in the final 11 games of the season, starting four … led the Lobos with 895 yards passing and six touchdowns, going 59-for-112 … had a 128.6 quarterback rating … was also third on the team in rushing with 612 yards on 120 carries with three touchdowns … had a season long run of 61 yards and a season long pass of 75 yards … became the first freshman quarterback to lead the Lobos to a fourth quarter come-from-behind win with a touchdown since 2006, and he did it twice, both times with two separate fourth quarter drives … saw his first action of his career against Arizona State, going 7-for-11 passing for 130 yards and a touchdown … also ran for 32 yards … entered the game down 22-0 and got UNM to within 32-21 at the half in that game … entered the game against New Mexico State after injuries to both Cole Gautsche and Clayton Mitchem and led UNM of a pair of fourth quarter touchdown drives … the final drive was capped by his 5-yard touchdown pass to Reece White for a 38-35 win … was 4-for-7 for 97 yards against Fresno State with a touchdown passing and a touchdown rushing … had his only 100-yard rushing game against UTSA, going for 106 yards on nine carries with a touchdown … had a 61-yard run in that game that set up a 1-yard touchdown run that gave UNM the lead in the third quarter … was also 7-for-11 passing for 72 yards … was 8-for-18 passing for 97 yards and a touchdown against San Diego State … entered in relief of Cole Gautsche at UNLV and led UNM on a another game-winning drive, leading a clock killing 15-play, 66-yard drive that consumed 6:57 of time as the Lobos won 31-28 … had a career-high 159 yards passing on 8-of-18 throwing with another 80 yards rushing against Utah State … was nearly perfect in UNM’s win over Wyoming, going 6-of-7 for 141 yards and a career-long 75 yard touchdown pass … also ran for 76 yards on nine carries.

2013 (Freshman Season): Redshirted.

High School: The 2012 Collin County Offensive Player of the Year and a first-team All-Collin County selection for the Titans and coach Mark Howard … guided the Titans to a 24-3 record during his two years as a starting quarterback … completed 205 of 351 passes (58.4 percent) for 2,697 yards with 31 touchdowns and 11 interceptions … also ran the ball 137 times for 577 yards and nine TDs … named the District 9-4A Offensive MVP, first-team All-District 9-4A and second-team All-Region … Centennial was 12-2 in 2012 and advanced to the regional semifinals of the Class 4A state championship playoffs … led Centennial to a 12-1 record in 2011 and a 4A regional semifinals berth … completed 180 of 323 passes (55.7 percent) for 2,422 yards with 24 TDs and nine interceptions … also had 131 carries for 920 yards and 11 TDs … earned District 9-4A Offensive MVP and first-team All-District 9-4A honors … a two-year member of the District 9-4A All-Academic Team (2011, 2012).
