2013 (Freshman Season): Played in 11 games with four starts … finished with one reception and two carries for 30 yards … ran for 19 yards on the first play from scrimmage against UNLV … took an end-around handoff for 11 yards against New Mexico State.
High School: An honorable-mention All-District 11-5A for the Skeeters and coach Robbie Robinson … had 48 receptions for 701 yards and seven touchdowns in 2012 … Mesquite finished 11-1 and advanced to the Texas 5A Region II Area finals … had career highs with nine receptions, 156 yards and two TDs against Arlington Bowie during the second week of the ‘12 season … led the team in receptions in both its playoff games in 2012, finishing with five catches for 77 yards vs. Sachse High School in the Bi-District round and seven catches for 82 yards vs. Allen High School in the Area finals … as a junior in 2011, recorded 35 receptions for 341 yards with two TDs … had a season-high eight receptions for 79 yards and one TD vs. Belton on Nov. 11, 2011 … named second-team All-District … Mesquite finished 7-6 in 2011 … clocked at a 4.48-second time in the 40-yard dash, according to Scout.com … also a two-year letter winner on the Mesquite boys basketball team.
