2023 (Junior Season): Started in 10 of the 12 games, playing in all 12 … recorded 66 tackles on the season to lead the team … did it despite missing large portions of games due to injuries … added 3.5 TFLs, 0.5 sacks, a forced fumble, three breakups and two hurries … twice recorded double-digit tackles … opened the season with 10 tackles over the first three games, including four tackles with a pass breakup against Tennessee Tech and five with a QB hurry and a half-tackle for a loss against New Mexico State … had a career-game against UMass in a 34-31 overtime win, recording a career-high 12 tackles … followed that up with nine tackles at Wyoming … had a solid game against San Jose State with five tackles, 1.5 tackles, and a pass breakup … had four straight games of four tackles each, against Nevada, UNLV, Boise State and Fresno State … finished the season with his second career-double-digit tackle game with 11 against Utah State … also had a tackle for a loss and a forced fumble as well.
2022 (Sophomore Season): Saw action in six games before suffering a season-ending injury … recorded 26 tackles and a QB Hurry on the season … started games 4-6 of the season … had a career-game against LSU in his first career start, recording nine tackles …. had six tackles against UNLV, including a career-best five solo stops … had nine tackles in a reserve middle linebacker role over the first three games, including four against Boise State.
2021 (Freshman Season): Played in nine games, mostly on special teams … recorded his first career tackle at linebacker in his collegiate debut against Texas A&M … had tackles against Air Force and San Diego State … also had a tackle against UNLV.
High School: Lettered in football and track at Burges High School for coach James Routledge … recorded 113 tackles and 6.0 for loss while catching 17 passes for 253 yards … mostly a linebacker in high school but also played receiver, kicker, punter and at times, quarterback … is a sprinter and jumper in track … district champions in 2019 and 2020.
