John Lintner joined The University of New Mexico in February of 2019 and is in his first season with the program. Lintner handles the entire video coordination program for the Lobo football program and coaching staff.
Lintner oversees a staff that culls practice footage from multiple angles and quickly prepares that for UNM’s coaching staff. Lintner also oversees the breakdown of all game footage, including the complex coding and breakouts that allow the staff to easily digest the footage. The complex system can break film down by down, distance, formation, type of play and player number. It allows for Lintner to quickly and efficiently transfer information to the coaching staff after practices and games.
Lintner came to UNM after spending a year with the Next College Student-Athlete as recruiting coordinator. Lintner has spent time in the video offices for Oregon as the Assistant Video Coordinator, Pittsburgh as the football Director of Video Services and Michigan State. He graduated with a degree in Kinesiology and Health from Miami University in 2013.
