
Caleb Heim
Caleb Heim joined the Lobo family in January of 2025 as one of the first hires for Jason Eck.
He worked with Eck in the previous three seasons at the University of Idaho.
PREVIOUS STOPS
IDAHO (2022-2024): Heim spent three seasons at the University of Idaho overseeing the entire strength and conditioning program for the Vandals.
South Dakota (2018-2022): Heim worked at the University of South Dakota for four years as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. He served as an assistant to the football team and ran programs for the Coyotes’ Women’s Basketball and Softball teams. In his time with the Coyotes, the women’s basketball team won three conference titles and qualified for the NCAA tournament in all four seasons, including an appearance in the Sweet 16.
NEBRASKA (2016-2017): For two seasons, Heim was a graduate assistant for the Cornhuskers in the Mike Riley era. The Huskers appeared in the 2016 Music City Bowl and rose as high as No. 7 in the National Polls that season.
SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA STATE (2013-2015): Heim spent two seasons at his alma mater, beginning as a graduate assistant for the football program, where he served as a running backs coach, and then transitioning into the role of strength and conditioning coach in 2014.
PLAYING CAREER (2011-2013): Heim’s playing career lasted only two seasons due to injury. He then transitioned into the role of student assistant coach, graduating early to become a graduate assistant, and later became the head strength and conditioning coach.
