2023-24

Outdoor Track & Field: Joined the Lobos for the summer session, competing in the 3,000m steeplechase at the PDX Track Festival in a Lobo uniform … Finished second only to three-time NCAA Champion Allie Ostrander with a 9:28.88 time in that race.

St. Agatha Mokpo Girls School

One of the most accomplished distance stars in the world under the age of 20 … third-place individual finisher at the U20 World Cross Country Championships in 2023 and a U20 African champion and senior Kenyan national champ in the 3,000m steeplechase…  the sister of world marathon record holder Brigid Kosgei, who won the 2018 and 2019 Chicago Marathons, the 2019 and 2020 London Marathons and the 2021 Tokyo Marathon before earning silver in the event at the Tokyo Olympics … says her sister encouraged her to choose the college route and use her talent to get an education in America.
