Indoor Track & Field (Freshman): Two weeks after NCAA Championships, opened up the indoor season with a new indoor program record in the 5,000m (15:00.36), a time that ranks No. 4 on the indoor NCAA all-time list …  Earned MW Freshman & Athlete of the Week honors for that race … Broke the UNM indoor mile record in her next race at the Dr. MLK Invite on Jan. 25, clocking a 4:30.68 conversion with a 4:36.70 raw time that stands as the fastest in collegiate history at altitude … Won MW Freshman & Athlete of the Week again the Tuesday following as a result.

Cross Country (Freshman): NCAA National Runner-Up …. USTFCCCA First Team All-American … USTFCCCA Mountain Region Athlete of the Year … Honda Sport Award Finalist … Mountain West Freshman & Athlete of the Year … Won each of her first four races, including a new course record at Wisconsin Pre-Nationals (18:59.1) and Mountain West and Mountain Region individual titles … Finished second in her first NCAA Championship race to lead the Lobo women to a seventh-place team finish (19:27.8).

Outdoor Track & Field: Joined the Lobos for the summer session, competing in the 3,000m steeplechase at the PDX Track Festival in a Lobo uniform … Finished second only to three-time NCAA Champion Allie Ostrander with a 9:28.88 time in that race.

One of the most accomplished distance stars in the world under the age of 20 … third-place individual finisher at the U20 World Cross Country Championships in 2023 and a U20 African champion and senior Kenyan national champ in the 3,000m steeplechase…  the sister of world marathon record holder Brigid Kosgei, who won the 2018 and 2019 Chicago Marathons, the 2019 and 2020 London Marathons and the 2021 Tokyo Marathon before earning silver in the event at the Tokyo Olympics … says her sister encouraged her to choose the college route and use her talent to get an education in America.
