2013 XC: Competed at five meets as New Mexico’s second ace alongside Sammy Silva … Finished as the team’s No. 2 runner at every meet except Wisconsin … Debuted at the Notre Dame Invitational, clocking a 10th-place finish in 17:18.7 over 5 kilometers … Led the team at the Wiconsin Invitational, placing 24th overall in 20:15 … Nabbed the fourth-best time over 6 kilometers at the Mountain West Championships, finishing in 21:30.95 … Claimed third overall at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships, crossing the lne in 20:34.8 … Captured All-American honors at the NCAA Championships, finishing 18th in 20:30.9.
2014 Indoors: Ran at five meets, mostly in the mile run … After a opening the season in the 800 at the Lobo Collegiate Invitational (second place, time of 2:09.32*), ran in the mile at the next three regular-season meets: the New Mexico Team Invitational (second, 4:38.20*), the Husky Classic (17th, 4:42.74) and the Alex Wilson Invitational (second, 4:39.88) … Scored the mile, 3000 and 5000 at the Mountain West Indoor Championships, with a win in the mile (4:45.52*), a second-place finish in the 3000 (9:36.20*) and an eighth-place finish in the 5000 (18:04.28*).
2014 Outdoors: Competed a six meets, advancing to the finals of the NCAA Championships … Opened the season at the Stanford Invitational, notching a fifth-place time in the 1500 (4:19.46) … Helmed the first leg of the women’s 4×1,500 meter relay at the historic Penn Relays as the ladies finished fourth overall … Claimed a sixth-place finish in her section of the 1500 at the Payton Jordan Invitational (4:18.56) … Became the only athlete in Mountain West Conference history to score in the 800 (sixth place), the 1500 (second) and the 5000 (third) at a single conference championship … Advanced to the NCAA Championship via a sixth-place finish at the NCAA West Preliminary Round (4:19.67), placing 21st at the national finals.
2012-13
2012 XC: Raced five times for the Lobos, emerging as their No. 2 runner as the season advanced … Opened at the Notre Dame Invitational, finishing the 5-kilometer course with a 27th-place clocking of 17:13 … Tallied her first of four straight second-place team finishes at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational, as she covered the 6K course in 20:25 to place 44th overall … Claimed silver at the Mountain West Championships with a 20:51.62 time, earning First-Team All-MW honors in the process … Took USTFCCCA All-Mountain Region honors as well after placing 10th at the NCAA Regionals with a 20:54.3 time … Helped the women to a 10th-place team finish at the NCAA Championships as she completed the 6K course in 20:23.8.
2013 Indoors: Redshirted the 2013 indoor season … Did compete unattached at UNM home meets, including a third-place time of 2:10.44 in the 800 at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational.
2013 Outdoors: Competed at seven meets for the Lobos, including the NCAA Championships … Opened with a school-record performance in the 1500 at the Stanford Invitational, smashing the 28-year-old standard with a third-palce time 4:19.03 … Also took fifth in her heat of the 800 at Stanford, finishing in 2:10.61 … Won the 800 at the Air Force Triangular, finishing in 2:10.75* … Broke her own record in the 1500 at the Mt. SAC Relays, finishing in 4:16.94 to take 11th … Ran a 16:20.57 time in the 5000 at the Payton Jordan Invitational, placing 35th … Scored in the 800 and the 1500 at the Mountain West Championships, placing eighth in the 800 (2:11.60) and second in the 1500 (4:27.02), helping UNM sweep the medals in the 1500 … Qualified to NCAA West Preliminary championships in the 1500, placing 10th with a 4:20.04 time to move onto the NCAA Championships … Led the women at the NCAA meet in the metric mile, placing 14th with a 4:19.27 mark.
