Tyler McPeak joined UNM Baseball in August of 2024 as Director of Baseball Operations.
McPeak concluded his collegiate career at Lenoir-Rhyne — where he was initially recruited by current Lobo assistant Matt Risdon — in the spring of 2024. He played two years as a graduate student there in 2023 and 2024, batting .368 in 101 career starts at first base in that span. The Denver, N.C. native earned All-Conference honors in 2024 after leading the Bears in hits (71), batting average (.388) and OPS (1.146) while driving in the second-most runs on the team (59).
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management at Campbell, where he was a member of the team from 2019-22 and appeared in 25 games over his last two seasons after redshirting his first year and missing the second with injury.
