Former Lobo volleyball player Elsa Krieg enters her second year as New Mexico’s Director of Volleyball Operations. After a superb four-year career as a middle blocker for head coach Jeff Nelson, Krieg remained at UNM as a volunteer assistant in 2015 before transitioning over to the operations side of the program.
As a the director of operations, Krieg is involved with the day-to-day management and operations of the Lobos’ indoor and beach volleyball program. She also assists in scheduling team travel, meetings, meals, and community service, along with helping monitor team academics, equipment, youth summer camps, the “Point! Lobos” booster organization, and some aspects of the team’s operating budget.
Krieg graduated from UNM in 2015.
